About Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest was originally conceived in Bavaria, South Germany in 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig, who later became King Ludwig I.

Oktoberfest is now celebrated throughout the world to recognise the finest things in life – Friendship, Pleasure, Hearty Food, Live Music and Drinking of Beer.

While there have been numerous attempts at re-creating the event in Singapore, Oktoberfest Asia has become recognised by purists as the most authentic in Asia.

Oktoberfest Asia 2013 was the 1st traditional festival in Singapore with authentic Bavarian beers, a true Munchen band, gourmet Bavarian food, and an atmosphereand decorations just like in Munich but a party in Asia. Das Original!
